Aqas-Xena-Xenas

Aqas-Xena-Xenas
Hero of a Chinook story of an Indian boy who reached the upper regions by a chain secured to the end of an arrow; there he reached the abode of the Evening Star and found his family counting over the dead people in Evening Star’s game-bag. He marries the Moon, the daughter of Evening Star, and participates in a war with the Morning Star and its daughter the Sun. His children are Siamese twins and are eventually successfully divided by Blue-Jay. This appears to be a vague memory of some great cosmic happening of the remote past.
